A Visit to the Rollins Anthropology Lab

Dr. Carol Lauer, Anthropology Professor, and Dr. Barbara Carson, Professor Emerita of English, hosted Walden Community School at the Rollins College Anthropology lab on October 9th.  The students loved adding to their knowledge of evolution by getting to see bones and casts from various great apes and hominids (up close!) and learning more about how human beings developed.  Professors Lauer and Carson enjoyed how excited the students were (hands were in the air much of the time), and also said how impressed they were with how much they already knew.  (And, having lunch -- and running -- on the great lawn after the presentation was so much fun!)  Thank you, Dr. Lauer Dr. Carson, and Rollins College!
