The semester wrapped up with continuing studies on Ancient Greece. Students tested out Aristotle's theory of falling objects; built pulleys and levers in their study of Archimedes; learned how Pythagoras first connected music to math; acted out Greek Myths; created paper mache Greek "vases"; used a triple Venn Diagram to compare and contrast Socrates, Aristotle, and Plato; and practiced for the "Walden Olympics." What a great unit of study to end the year on!
