Donations to Puerto Rico

Walden Families donated items to be shipped to Puerto Rico for hurricane victims.  Community service has always been highlighted at Walden Community School.  Thank you to all who contributed!

Walden Community School

Walden Community School is a non-profit, non-sectarian, private, independent school established in 2001.  When policy is set or reviewed, "What is best for the student?" is always our primary focus. WCS serves Orlando, Florida and Winter Park, Fl Community. 

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • We are accepting rolling applications for the 2017-2018 school year.  Call to schedule your tour today!
  • Thank you to all families who donated to our collection for hurricane victims of Puerto Rico! 
  • Our next Community Service Project is with Poodle and Pooch Rescue. The "Walden Dog-Walkers" are raising money for Franklin's Friends dog and puppy Howl-O-Ween Walk-a-Thon and canine costume contest. Come out for some fun on Saturday, October 28th, 9am-noon, at Secret Lake Park in Casselberry. 
  • Our Friday after-school class, Piano Keyboard, began Oct. 6th. Thank you, Grow and Sing Studios! 
  • It's time for track with Dreadhead Sports again! Wednesday practice and Saturday meets are happening now!
  • Field Trips: Friday, Oct. 27th, the Orlando Museum of Art's Early Americas exhibit; Friday, Nov 10th, Literacy Day with the Pi Phi Sorority of Stetson University.
  • Next Open House: December 6th, 2017.
  • The door is always open for parents who would like to schedule a meeting to discuss your child's progress at Walden!
